ReTs apprise DSEJ of their demands, issues

JAMMU, Oct 28: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Rehbar-e- Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) called on Director School Education Jammu, S Ravinder Singh and discussed with him various issues related to the community and sought early redressal of the same.
The deputation was headed by forum State vice chairman Bhupinder Singh and State general secretary J A Khan. During the interaction, the deputation demanded regularization of ReT teachers, education volunteers converted ReTs and KGVB teachers who completed their five year service satisfactory.
They also asked the Director to allow ReT teachers for JKBOSE examination duties, which were being assigned to them earlier by the department time to time. Other demands, which they highlighted before the Director, included; early completion of the promotion files of ReT teachers which are lying pending since 2014, implementation of time bound promotions, transfer policy and regularization of those teachers who have acquired their degrees from out side UGC approved universities through distance and regular mode.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured that their all genuine issues will be redressed as soon as possible. Director also assured that the regularization files of EVs converted ReTs of district Reasi is in final stage and the files of the rest of the districts are under process and CEOs of the concerned districts have been directed to reach with files in the Director’s office.
For examination duties of ReTs, Director assured that this issue will be discussed with the concerned authorities.
The deputation comprised of Neenu Lata, Muzafar Ahmed, M M Pathan, Vijay Chalhotra, Asif Choudhary, Kirpal Singh, Rajesh Paul, Aftab Alam Malik, Sameena Kouser, Aftab Tantary, Hamid Nabaz, Bhadur Singh, Kuldeep Katoch, Pritem Dhiman, Gulnaz Chouhan and others.
