Retiring officers, officials given warm send off

JAMMU, Nov 30: On their attaining age of superannuation today, various officers and officials in different departments were accorded warm send off by their colleagues, seniors and juniors.
A function was organized by Directorate of Litigation Jammu to bid farewell to Director Litigation Jammu Rohni Kiran Gupta, who after rendering his 32 years of services in different departments attained superannuation today. On the occasion, Abdul Majid Bhat, Secretary, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Special Secretary Law, Deputy Director, Assistant Director, District Litigation Officers and Law Officers of various departments were present. The speakers spoke about the efforts of Rohni Kiran Gupta for the development of the Litigation Department.
Ashok Kumar Gupta, Joint Director Floriculture Jammu superannuated after serving more than 35 years of service in various capacities in the Department of Floriculture. Directorate of Floriculture gave an affectionate, warm and graceful farewell. Director Floriculture Jammu Babila Rakwal along with other officers were present on the occasion.
A grand and warm send off was given to Shareef Hussain, who retired today from the post of Manager in FCI Depot at Narwal. On the occasion, FCI Depot officers and others conveyed their best wishes to the retiring officer, who served in the FCI Department for many years.
A warm send off was given to Som Raj Bhagat who retired as Head Assistant from Ravi Tawi Mechanical Division Kathua today. On his superannuation, a function at Kathua was organized by the senior officers and colleagues. They all wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.
A warm farewell was given to SI Amar Chand, ASI Madan Lal, ASI Jagdev Singh and ASI Prabh Dayal of District Police Jammu on their superannuation from service by Jammu Police. A function was organized in District Police Lines, Jammu. Officers and jawans of DPL Jammu were present on the occasion and wished the retiring personnel a happy and prosperous future life. The retirees were honored with a cheque of Rs 60,000 as retirement gift out of Police Welfare Fund.
Raman Singh Chouhan, Head Assistant, District Youth Services and Sports Department Jammu has attained superannuation today. The official performed services in the different capacities.
