Retirees accorded warm, affectionate farewell

JAMMU, Mar 1: Reports continue to pour in about farewell functions having been organized in favour of those employees who retired on their superannuation on February 28, 2014, from active Government services by their officers and colleagues.
Emotional farewell was accorded to Savita Bakshi, Special Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, on her retirement on superannuation at a function which was attended among others by writers, staff members and artists. The employees presented mementos and gifts as token of love and respect for the retiring officer.
Jammu University Non Teaching Employees Union (NTEU) accorded warm send off to Janak Raj, Head Assistant, on his retirement. NTEU president Sunil Sahi and others also spoke on the occasion and wished the retiree a happy and healthy post retirement life.
Rajinder Kumar Mehra, Principal, Directorate of School Education and Kewal Krishan, Deputy Director Planning, Directorate of School Education, who retired from Government services, were accorded warm farewell by officers and officials of the Directorate. The speakers lauded the services of both the retiring officers and wished them happy and prosperous life after retirement.
Ramnik Singh, Inspector Panchayat, Rural Development Department, was given warm send off on his retirement at a function presided over by Block Development Officer at Satwari.
An impressive function was organized at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Rehari in honour of Kamlesh Kumari, senior lecturer (Education) on her attaining superannuation yesterday. Principal Sanjay Kumar  Zutshi lauded the services rendered by her and wished happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
HQ Chief Engineer Northern Command C/o 56 APO (Legal Cell Jammu) accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Rashpal Chand, Office Superintendent, on his superannuation on February 28, 2014. Col Rajnish Bhandari and others lauded the dedication and sincerity of the retiree.
Daulat Ram, Peon, Office of the Deputy Commissioner Doda who attained superannuation yesterday was accorded warm and affectionate farewell. The speakers lauded the sincere services of Daulat Ram and wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life.
