Retd Col floats ‘Sainik Samaj Party’

JAMMU, Sept 19: A retired army colonel here today floated a new political party with the name ‘Sainik Samaj Party’.
President of the Party Colonel S.S Pathania (retired) told reporters that the party will work for granting minority status to Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists of the State.
“Abrogation of 35 A, fight against discrimination in Government jobs, fresh census, making new constituencies, eviction of Rohingiyas etc are other issues on which we will fight,” he informed.
He further said that his party will work for 14 per cent reservation in Government jobs for ex-servicemen and added that the party will look about the interests of armed forces, para-military forces, police and civilians.
