Retd Central Para-military Forces men raise demands

JAMMU, Sept 17: Ex-Central Para-military Forces Welfare Association (Jammu province) including belt force men from BSF, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB and others today projected pending issues of the retired force men.
In a meeting of the Association held at Gandhinagar, under the leadership of Shashi Sharma (president), the members pointed out that they projected their issues before the Central higher authorities through various representations from time to time but the same could not be resolved till date.
They demanded one rank one pension rule to be followed in the Central Para-military forces, medical and canteen facilities to the retired force men on the pattern of Defence forces, reservation for the wards of Central Para-military Force men in professional institutions and also in central jobs, implem entation of pension benefits pre-2004 pensioners and revision of pension of 6th and 7th Pay Commission in favour of Para-military forces.
The members of the Association including Daleep Singh, DK Chouhan, Mohinder Singh, Janak Raj and Jagar Nath, Ashok Kumar and Kulbir Singh were also present in the meeting.
