RAJOURI, Dec 19: The dead body of a retired Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was recovered from a nallah in Argi area of district Rajouri this morning.
A police spokesman said that 55-year-old Mohd Qureshi, son of Mir Mohammed, resident of Argi village went missing last night. He had gone to a nearby village last evening and did not return home late in the evening. The family members started searching for him during late evening and night.
A villager noticed the dead body of the retired BSF personnel lying in the nallah between Agri and Samote village and informed his family members. The villagers gathered there and also informed police. The police party rushed to the site and removed the body to District hospital for postmortem. The police said that a case has been registered under Section 174 CrPC. The investigation was in progress.
