ReT Forum holds meeting

UDHAMPUR, Jan 4: J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a meeting at Kalwanta under the presidium of its zonal president Sham Singh and   State vice president Bhupinder Singh for discussing the issues and grievances of ReT teachers.
While addressing the meeting, Bhupinder Singh asked the State Government to streamline salary of ReTs, stop undue harassment on the name of screaming test, consider ReTs as General Line Teacher after completion of five years service and frame transfer policy as per the direction of High Court and enhance the salary of newly appointed ReTs from Rs 3000 to Rs 12000.
Zonal president Sham Singh asked teachers of their cadre to remain united on a single platform for the welfare of ReTs. .
Others,  who were present in the meeting, included Ramesh Chander, Ravikant Sharma, Mohan Singh, Varinder Sharma, Naveen Dogra, Sunil Singh, Parveen Singh, Naseeb Singh, Ravi Kumar, Romesh Singh, Kamal Singh, Pawan Sharma, Romesh Kumar, Gagan, Suram Chand and  Chain Singh.
