Shopian firing in utter self defence on an unruly mob with intentions of inflicting damage of life and property to the army at the first instance should have been appreciated looking to a sinister plan of Pakistan .Instead it was politicised by lodging an FIR against the army major.This all happened under the CM who is chairing meetings of the Unified Command .So sad. Doubly sad how it happened under the most nationalist and patriotic ally of the PDP , the BJP.
No respite to the army officer from the political leadership compelled the parents approach the Supreme Court which has stayed for the time being any action against the army major. Anyway the FIR for the time being is rendered unimplementable.
Could not this be ensured by the BJP an allied partner in Jammu and Kashmir Government in keeping with its traditions and claims of being patriotic and a party with a difference.?
Do not let the army be let down which could prove disastrous at least for those leaders who enjoy all protection from them and even those people in the valley who may not be falling in line with these stone pelters who are nothing except terrorists with stones , deadly stones if not Pakistani guns.
Respect army .They do not kill civilians but protect them , in particular our Indian army. World’s one of the most powerful and disciplined armies does not deserve stones but our extreme respect.
