JAMMU, Apr 16: Governor N N Vohra has accepted the resignations of two BJP Ministers Choudhary Lal Singh and Chander Prakash Ganga with immediate effect.
An official order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) this evening said the Governor has accepted resignations of Industry and Commerce Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga and Forest, Ecology and Environment Minister Lal Singh.
Both had submitted their resignations to BJP president Sat Sharma on the controversy shrouding their support to Rassana people in Hiranagar tehsil of Kathua district, which Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had accepted yesterday and forwarded them to the Governor.
However, the charge of Forest and Industry and Commerce Ministries hasn’t been allocated to any Minister so far.
