DODA, Mar 24: Prominent citizens of block Khelani today met under the chairmanship of Faqir Chand Arman and constituted a committee under the name and style of ‘Welfare & Peace Committee’ to work for the welfare of the public.
The committee comprised of Faqir Chand Arman as chairman, Shakeel Ahmed Sheikh and Saroop Singh as vice chairmen, Dharam Singh as general secretary, Dev Raj as secretary, Uttam Singh as publicity secretary, Lakshmi Narayan as head cashier and Vipan Kumar as cashier.
Kikar Singh, Vasudev, Mansa Ram, Gouri Lal, Amar Chand Parihar, Jagdev Singh Rana, Swami Raj, Dev Raj, Laher Chand, Abdul Ahad, Dev Raj Kalyan and Hans Raj were elected as advisors while Mohd Iqbal Kuldip Kumar, Mohan Lal, Ghulam Mohd, Mohd Iqbal, Deolt Ram and Sohan Lal were elected as members of the committee.
