JAMMU, Dec 13: A residential shed got gutted in fire near Bus Stand here today.
As per police sources, a fire broke out probably due to short circuit in a residential shed near Bus Stand. The residential shed was owned by Pyara Singh (82), a resident of Punjab.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Three fire tenders along with fire fighters reached the spot and doused the flames, but till then the household items inside the residential shed got damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bus Stand police has taken cognizance in this regard.
