Representing India Chandeep wins silver in Para Taekwondo

JAMMU, Feb 7: Creating history while representing the country, J&K’s Chandeep Singh, son of Surinder Singh won silver medal in 8th World Para Taekwondo Championship held at Antalya in Turkey.
It is for the first time in Indian history that any Para athlete clinched a medal at the World Taekwondo Championship.
The skater turned Taekwondo player, Chandeep is the student of MBS College of Engineering and Technology, Babliana, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu.
