Reorganization of J&K only solution to present crisis: KPC

JAMMU, July 9: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), today stated that only viable solution of the Kashmir problem is re-organisation of the J& K State with separate Kashyap Bhoomi for the Kashmiri  Pandits with separate Jammu State and UT status to Ladakh.
This was stated by president of KPC, Kundan Kashmiri, in a statement issued here. He said the only peaceful solution of the Kashmir problem is to re-organize the J&K State into four parts, including separate Kashyap Bhoomi for KPs would be a step towards solving the crisis.
He said the various experiments to solve Kashmir problem have failed and majority community has also failed to respect the pluralism and maintain cordial relations with minorities who were forced to flee from the Valley on gun point by terrorists supported by members of majority community. He said how long the Kashmiri Pandits will lead an exiled life outside hence the Government should concede the demand of settling them in Kashyap State within Valley.
KPC leader also questioned the relevance of Article 370 and said the sooner this controversial article will go the better will be its impact on people of the State.
Kundan Kashmiri said that as long as J&K is not reorganized there could be no peace and harmony in the State. He also asked the community to observe July 13 as Black Day by wearing black badges and switching of the lights during evening hours in their houses as a mark of the protest.
