JAMMU, Sept 29: Govt Employees and Workers Joint Action Committee (EWJAC) has urged upon the State Government to remove pay anomalies in the grades of clerical cadre and implement 7th Pay Commission report.
In a meeting of the JAC held here today under the leadership of senior trade unionists -Babu Hussain Malik, Bharat Bhushan, Ashok Singh, Yash Pal Sharma, Parshotal Kumar Sharma and others here today, the members stressed for early resolution of their pending issues. They criticized the Govt for causing delay in addressing their demands.
The major demands include- removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre, implementation of 7th Pay Commission report, enhancement of Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, conduct of DPC of all cadre, grand of dislocation allowance to employees posted outside their home town and regularization of all type of temporary workers.
