Relief authorities harassing migrants: BJYM

JAMMU, Feb 20: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Displaced District in a meeting expressed grave concern over the harassment caused to Kashmiri migrants by authorities of Relief organization.
The Morcha which convened a meeting here today under the leadership of Sanjay Bhat its general secretary expressed serious concern over the behavior of the Relief authorities with the migrants at Jagti camp during their recent visit after a group of migrants projected some problems before the visiting officers led by Relief Commissioner.
The meeting said that lot of resentment has been generated among the migrants over the role of the authorities who instead of solving the problems were harassing the displaced people who dare to project their problems before them.
Meanwhile the relief holders representative Sunil  Pandita also expressed his dismay over the role of the senior officers of the organization. He said the migrants have started protest at Jagti against the recent remarks of the officers during their visit at Jagti and since then they are on protest.
He warned to intensify agitation in case the authorities do not mend their ways.
