JAMMU, Sept 17: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency, Amrik Singh Reen today distributed utensils to the hundreds of people of different localities of flood-hit areas.
He distributed ration, medicines and blankets and utensils to those who have already lost their houses and other household items.
PDP leader along with his team distributed utensils including plates, glasses, spoons, bowls, pots of steel in large quantity to the flood affected people and said that at least with these items the flood victims can start their new life.
“I can understand the pain threes people are going through after loosing their houses and all household items,” said Reen after visiting and distributing utensils to Chatha, Raipur Satwari and other areas adjoining to Tawi falls in Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Earlier, Reen also distributed food packets to hundreds of drivers, who were stranded from Sidhra to Nagrota area.
