JAMMU, Aug 12: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Regional Branch, today provided cash relief to the injured victims of Doda accident.
On the instructions of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr M K Bhandari, who is also Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu region, cash relief of Rs 10,000/ each was provided to six injured persons of the accident, which took place near Puneja in Chiralla tehsil of Doda district.
These injured are admitted in the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu and the cash relief was provided for meeting emergent treatment/other expenses.
The relief was handed over by a team, led by its Hony Secretary, R C Puri, in presence of S R Sharma and Dinesh Gupta, Members, Executive Committee, IRCS, Jammu Region.
