JAMMU, May 22: To provide proper health check-up to the poor and needy people of far flung areas of Jammu Division, Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Region Jammu organized a medical check-up camp at Village Dori Dagair in Block Khara of District Jammu.
During the camp more than 200 patients suffering from different ailments were examined by a team of doctors namely Dr Rohini Bhan, Medical Officer, Red Cross Dispensary, Dr Priyanka Parihar (BDS), Interns–Mukhtar Hussain and Mudasir Bashir. They were assisted by Kuldeep Bhat, Senior Opthalmic Assistant, Sohan Lal, Pharmacist and Sangita Devi, FMPHW. Free Medicines were also provided to the needy patients.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Madan Lal Sharma, ex-chairman, Village Dori Dagair and Mangat Ram Sharma.
The camp was organized under the supervision of RC Puri.
