JAMMU, Oct 22: A foreign delegation of Red Cross today called on Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu and discussed the relief and rehabilitation measures being taken in flood hit areas of the region.
The visiting Red Cross delegation expressed grief over the loss of life in the flood hit areas of the State. The delegation members also briefed the Div Com about the humanitarian activities of the international organization across the globe, particularly in areas faced with natural and manmade calamities.
Additional Commissioner Jammu Rehana Batul was also present on the occasion.
