REASI, Nov 4: Reasi Police today challaned a number of vehicles for violation of different Motor Vehicle Acts, here today.
On the directions of SSP Reasi, Tahir Sajad Bhat, a police team led by SI Tribhawan Khajuria incharge Police Post Talwara, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Reasi, Dr Nikhil Gogna, laid a special naka at Zero Morh, Talwara and challaned 31 vehicles under different Motor Vehicle Acts like overloading, driving without licenses, using mobile phones while driving, not wearing crash helmets, triple riding, over speeding etc. Around a dozen vehicles plying without valid route permit, were also challaned.
It is pertinent to mention that from the past few days, several complaints were being received, that some vehicles were plying towards Ransoo, Shivkhori Shrine without valid route permit.
