Re-double efforts to complete development works in set time-frame: Ganga

SAMBA, Mar 2: For development and upgradation of Industrial Estate, Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today stressed upon officers to re-double their efforts to ensure all works taken up are completed within the stipulated timeframe.
The Minister said this after taking stock of various ongoing developmental works during his visit to Industrial Estate SIDCO complex at Bari Brahamana.
The works are being executed under The Aggregative Macro Economic and Infrastructure Rebuilding (TAMEIR) scheme for which the funds are provided under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP).
Ganga reviewed civil works including roads, drainage system, power infrastructure, water supply and other allied works. He asked the concerned authorities to develop professional and innovative outlook to enhance glory of SIDCO.
The Minister said Government will take every step to bring necessary reforms for entrepreneurs willing to come and invest in the State. He said an industry friendly atmosphere will be created without compromising on the ecological and environmental aspects.
He also visited Balole nallah and directed the officers to take appropriate steps and start protection works to avoid soil erosion due to flash floods. He also directed to carry out massive plantation drive to enhance beauty and ecology of the area.
Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Shailendra Kumar, GM SIDCO, Vikram Gupta, Executive Engineers and other concerned officers accompanied the Minister during the visit.
