JAMMU, Apr 23: The Rural Development Multipurpose Co-operative Limited (RDMCL) today opened its 2nd branch at Rajpura near here, in the presence of its Chairman and Managing Director, Surjeet Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the objective of the Co-operative is to provide short term and mid term loan facilities for trading or agricultural purposes to farmers and the members of the co-operative including marginal farmers, small farmers, agricultural labourers and small traders.
RDMCL will also provide small scale banking services of saving account, current account, recurring account and fixed deposit services to the traders of the area, the MD added.
While disclosing that more and more branches of RDMCL will be opened very shortly at some more locations in the District, the MD asked people to open their accounts in RDMCL Rajpura and Marh for better and quick transaction of their day-to-day business.
