RCC conquers Uri Martyrs’ Memorial Cricket Tourney

REASI, Oct 27: Reasi Cricket Club (RCC) conquered the Uri Martyrs’ Memorial Cricket Tournament, which was being held here at Sports Stadium.
The final match was played today between RCC and Muslim Cricket Club (MCC). Batting first, RCC scored a low total of 75 runs in 17.3 overs. Babar scored 14 runs, Nishu 16 and Nitin 11 runs. For MCC, Adil and Yasin took 4 wickets each.
While chasing MCC could score only 70 runs and thus lost the match by 5 runs. For MCC, only Sunny reached to double digit score of 32 runs. For RCC side, Adil took 5 wickets and Nishu scalped 2 wickets.
Adil from RCC was adjudged as Man of the Match. Yasin was declared as best bowler of the tournament while Wasim Malik was adjudged as best batsman of the tournament.
DDC Reasi, Ravinder Kumar, who was the chief guest on the occasion, presented trophies to the winner and runner up teams. Besides, awards for individual performances were also distributed.
