JAMMU, June 20: Foreign Exchange Department, Srinagar (Jammu Regional Office), organised customer service meeting here today at RBI office, under the chairmanship of DK Kashyap, Deputy General Manager, FED, Jammu.
The meeting was attended by senior officials of Customs, DGFT, ECGC, authorised dealers operating in the State. FFMC representatives and a sizeable number of Forex customers.
In his key note address, Kashyap highlighted the instructions related to reporting in single Master Form for Foreign investment and requested officials/ dealers to bring the content of relevant circulars to the notice of customers. He also advised the banks to monitor transactions related to LRS without creating problems for customers and ensure daily reporting as per the extant instructions.
