Rather releases Rs 3 lakh each for development of 2 shrines

JAMMU, Sept 27: PDP MLA from Kokernag Assembly Segment, Abdul Rahim Rather has released Rs three lakh each for construction of kitchen at the Asthapan of Mata Shiva Bhagwati in Akingam village of Anantnag district and Swami Mirzkak Smadhi in village Hangalgund, Kokernag in the same district for construction of bathrooms at the holy shrine.
The foundation stone of the community hall at Swami Mirzakak Smadhi at Hangalgund was laid by the MLA last year. He said both these religious places will be developed so that the members of Pandit community can visit there and take part in the religious programmes without any difficulty.
This information was given to the members of PDP workers led by Nana Ji Wattal from Kokernag Constituency in a meting today. Meanwhile Swami Mirzakak Trust which met here today under the chairmanship of its general secretary AK Raina to take the stock of the construction work at Swami Ji ‘s Samadhi at Hangalgund have expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the local MLA in development of the shrines in the area.
