JAMMU, Mar 20: Jammu and Kashmir’s Ranji Trophy skipper Parvez Rasool’s all-round display went in vain as Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club (PDSC) defeated Gazi Group Cricketers by 6 wickets in an easy contest of the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at Dhaka in Bangladesh.
Batting first, Gazi Group Cricketers after early hiccups, rode on Parvez Rasool’s brilliant 67 runs off 73 balls, studded with 8 fours and 2 sixes and managed to score a fighting total of 230 runs.
In reply, PDSC chased the target easily in 45.5 overs by losing 4 wickets to win the match by 6 wickets. Parvez Rasool was the most economical bowler from Gazi Group Cricketers, conceding 43 runs off his 10 overs by taking one wicket.
