RAJOURI, Oct 4: The range level Sports Festival of Rajouri and Poonch districts, organized by Range Police Headquarters under Civic Action Program (CAP) culminated today in District Police Lines (DPL) ground, here.
On the valedictory function, MLA Rajouri Chowdhary Qamar Hussain was the chief guest, while DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, DK Slathia, SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas, Additional SP Rajouri Mohammad Yousuf, Additional SP Nowshera Master Popsy, SP CID CI, Khalid Amin and several senior officers of Prosecution Wing of District and Range levels, DySPs of Rajouri Police, Poonch Police and Range office, political and social leaders and civil society members were also present.
While speaking on the occasion, MLA termed the Sports Festival organized by Range Police Headquarters as most important in tapping the talent of local youth.
On the occasion, the winner and runner-up teams of different events were also awarded.
Earlier, the Sports Festival was declared open by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Dr Shahid Iqbal.
The winner teams of Range Level Sports Meet will now participate in Zonal Level meet to be organized by IGP Jammu at Jammu in the next months.
