Rajput Sabha pays tributes to Maharaja

SAMBA, Sept 24: Shri Amar Kashatrya Rajput Sabha Samba organised a function in connection with the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh and paid floral tributes to late Maharaja.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Capt (Retd)  Inder Singh Sambyal at Veer Bhoomi Park near national Highway Samba. Shamsher Singh Manhas, MP (RS) was the chief guest on the occasion. MP (LS) Jugal Kishore Sharma presided over the programme whereas, MLC Vikramaditya Singh and MLA Samba,  Dr DK Manyal were the guests of honour on the occasion.
The prominent among others present on the occasion included Shri Amar Kashatrya Rajput Sabha, J&K  president Narayan Singh,  Jammu High  Court Bar Association president BS Slathia, Mohinder Singh- former chairman of JCC Bank, Brig (Retd) S S Sambyal, Sunita Arora, Pawan Dev Singh Chib and others.
The speakers recalled the services of late Maharaja and termed him as great reformer and most secular king of his period. They also strongly demanded that State holiday should be declared  on the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh which is the popular demand of the people of the State.
On this occasion several students and sports persons of the area were honoured for their outstanding performance.
