Rajma chitra moves up on uptick in demand

NEW DELHI, Jan 14:  Rajmah chitra prices firmed up by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market due to pick up in demand from retailers.
However, other prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at the last levels.
Traders said upsurge in demand from retailers led to rise in rajmah chitra prices.
In the national capital, rajmah chitra went up by Rs 200 to Rs 6,700-9,200 per quintal.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 6,000-7,000, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 6,300-6,400, Urad best Rs 6,400-6,900, Dhoya Rs 6,800-7,100, Moong Rs 4,800-5,000, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,300-5,500, Moong Dhoya local Rs 5,900-6,400 and best quality Rs 6,400-6,600.
Masoor small Rs 4,750-4,900, bold Rs 4,800-5,000, Dal Masoor local Rs 5,100-5,600, best quality Rs 5,200-5,700, Malka local Rs 5,600-5,800, best Rs 5,700-5,900, Moth Rs 3,600-4,000, Arhar Rs 4,650, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 6,500-8,300.
Gram Rs 6,800-7,200, Gram dal (local) Rs 7,700-8,000, best quality Rs 8,100-8,200, Besan (35 kg), Shakti Bhog Rs 3,400, Rajdhani Rs 3,400, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,700-9,200, Kabuli Gram small Rs 8,900-9,400, Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, Imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 5,400-5,600, Peas white Rs 2,500-2,525 and green Rs 2,700-2,800.
