JAMMU, Nov 4: Jammu East MLA and BJP chief whip, Rajesh Gupta today inaugurated a community hall near Singh Gurudwara, Vikram Chowk, in Ward No 19. The estimated cost of the work is Rs 5.50 lakh.
Rajesh Gupta, while speaking on the occasion, said that implementation of various developmental activities undertaken by the Government has been fast paced and are being regularly monitored. It is endeavour of the Government to ensure time bound completion of works so that people get benefitted.
The MLA said that due to sustained efforts of the State’s BJP-PDP Government, much headway has been achieved in ensuring time bound completion of developmental works. Calling upon the youth to derive maximum benefits from employment schemes, he enjoined upon them to inculcate spirit of entrepreneurship and look beyond Government sector for jobs.
The JMC officials who accompanied the MLA include AEE Anil Gupta and JE Yaseen. The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA were Gurcharan Singh, Kuldeep Balgotra, Ashok Lambad, Opinder Singh, Darshan Singh and Nitti.
