Rajesh Gupta kick starts upgradation of Gumat stairs

JAMMU, June 29: In keeping with his agenda of development MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta kick started the process of the up gradation of Gumat stairs with new kind of tiles. The estimated cost of the project is 5.5 lacks.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by JMC Commissioner Sojanya Sharma and other officers, Gumat Association president Ashok Gupta, Chairman Pinka & Vice president Rattan Singh. Gupta gave on the spot instructions to the officials of the JMC present on the occasion to complete the beautification of Gate by next month. Instructions were issued to the concerned authorities to take due care while implementing the works so that no inconvenience is caused to the general public in the area. Rajesh Gupta assured the shopkeepers of Gumat that in the days to come all the shops of the Gumat would be renovated and even the request regarding making the shops double storied would be considered.
Members present on the occasion thanked the MLA for taking keen interest in the development of the area.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that equitable development of all the areas of his Constituency is his agenda and he will always be guided by the mantra of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. Gupta said that he will not rest till he creates an atmosphere of ease and comfort for the residents of his Constituency. Traffic congestion in the area is one of the problems that is high on my agenda he added.
Rajesh Gupta also informed about the various developmental schemes launched by the BJP Government. He appealed to the people to take advantage of the schemes like the Jan Dhan Yojna, Atal Bima Yojna, Pension Yojna and Swachta Abhiyan launched by the Government for the poor people.
