JAMMU, Mar 13: MLA Rajesh Gupta today inaugurated a free eye camp here at Purani Mandi Ram Mandir.
The camp was organised by New Young Blood Organization led by its members Ashok Verna,Naveen Gupta, Kuldeep Singh Ram Kapoor.
The doctors who participated in the free eye camp included Dr.K.D.Singh from Pathankot, Dr. Khalid Ahmed, Dr.Bhawna,Dr.Jatinder Pal Singh etc .CMO SMGS Hospital Dr.Thapa also visited the camp which was organised under the supervision of Dr K D Singh.
During the camp more than 400 patients were given free medicines and treatment. Sardar T. S. Prenee, secretary Manoranjan Kala Kendra was also present on the occasion.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking on the occasion said that we have to reach out to the less privileged sections of the society and ameliorate their sufferings. Health services have to be made available at an affordable cost to all sections of the society. In future we shall be organizing more such camps covering various other specialities to help the needy and poor patients.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied in the camp by senior BJP leaders Ramesh Sharma, Rajeev Bhardwaj, P.C.Gupta, Reminder Gupta, Ravi Singh, R.S. Jamwal, Raj Kumar, Chaman Lal and Hari Om.
