JAMMU, Dec 5: MLA Jammu East and party chief whip Rajesh Gupta today distributed school uniforms among the students of Government Middle School, Tangey Wali Galli Kachhi Chawni.
Rajesh Gupta was accompanied by the incharge Principal of the School, Shehnaz Akhtar and ZEO Amrit Kour.The VEC members who accompanied included Ratnesh Puri, Karan Singh,Suresh Bharti,Naresh Abrol and Om Abrol.
The incharge Principal Shehnaz Akhtar highlighted the academic and co-curricular achievements of the School and also sought the attention of the visiting MLA towards some infrastructural deficiencies. Rajesh Gupta assured that he would provide funds from his CDF for the development of the infrastructure of the important city school.
Rajesh while speaking on the occasion said the teachers to give their very best so that we can build the future of modern India. He said that children are our greatest assets and we have to equip them with knowledge, character and good moral values so that they can become leaders of tomorrow. Rajesh said that Government would provide adequate resources for the development of the infrastructure of educational institutions.
The BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA included Gopal Gupta, Rajinder Gupta, Rajkumar, Chaman Lal and Subhash Sanghra.
The teachers of the school who were present on the occasion included Geeta Sharma, Mona Puri, Neetu Bharti and Meenakhshi Manhas.
