REASI, Dec 31: Rajesh Singh, Gourav Singh and Sudesh Singh won gold medals in Shot Put, Discus Throw and Javelin Throw in the ongoing Athletic Meet, being organised by Reasi Police, under Civic Action Programe, at Sports Stadium, here.
The event is being held under the supervision of Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, DySP Hqrs, Reasi and Sanjay Singh Rana, Additional SP Reasi and under t he overall supervision of Tahir Sajad Bhat,SSP Reasi.
Around 40 students from various schools of District Reasi participated in the Competition which was held in the events of Discus Throw, Shot Put and Javelin Throw.
In Shot Put, Rajesh Singh bagged gold by throwing it to a distance of 11 meters, while Jaspreet Singh and Mohd Rafiq clinched silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Discus Throw, Gourav Singh covered a distance of 21.70 meters to claim gold, while Mohd Rafiq and Rajant Sharma bagged silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Javelin Throw, Sudesh Singh won gold by throwing the javelin to 34.30 meters, while Sahil Kumar and Sohan Singh bagged silver and bronze medals in this event respectively.
The events were officiated by a panel of experts including Romesh Chander, Kuldep Raj, Avinash Kumar and Pardeep Nag.
