Additional Director General of Police inaugurating residential quarters at Parihaspora on Saturday.

SRINAGAR, Sept 15: The Additional Director General of Police, Armed/Law & Order, (ADGP) K. Rajendra Kumar today commissioned Upper Subordinate residential quarters at Armed Police Complex Parihaspora. The building has been constructed by Jammu and Kashmir Police Housing Corporation (PHC) in a record period of one year.
While commissioning the building, Mr. Rajendra stressed upon the engineers, who were accompanying the ADGP along with the Managing Director, Police Housing Corporation, Alok Puri that they should ensure utilization of quality material in the construction of residential and office complexes. He appreciated the work of PHC and engineers of Police Construction Division for completing the work in the record period. He also asked them to complete the other works which could suffice the living facilities for lower subordinate personnel.
Managing Director, PHC, Alok Puri apprised the ADGP about the construction activities in the complex. He said that the building, consisting of 12 residential quarters was approved in the modernization programme and constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 84 lakh. He said that a four storey barrack block is also under construction in the premises and with the completion of this block other personnel would have latest living facilities.
