RAJOURI, Jan 22: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Nowshera Ravinder Raina inaugurated Bagnoti-Dandesar road, constructed by Rural Development Department (RDD) in the record three months time.
While speaking on the occasion, Raina said that the construction of this road was long pending demand of the locals as it connects large population from Bagnoti to Upper Dandesar villages via Jamia Masjid.
“After being elected as MLA, I had promised the local residents to construct this road and with the construction of this road my dream as well as my promise becomes reality”, he added.
He hoped that the RDD officials would continue their hard work and better results would be seen on ground.
He said that earlier there were reports of large scale corruption and malpractices in functioning of RDD and there was no development in the rural areas, but now there is a drastic change in the RDD. He said that stern action will be taken against corrupt and non-performing officers.
Raina assured the locals that their other issues including shortage of drinking water and irrigation problems will also be resolved in near future.
BDO Lamberi Naseem Choudhary, VLWs, Engineers and large number of locals including Mohammad Haneef, Ex-Sarpanch Mohammad Arshad, Roshan Lal, Mohinder Pal, Dogar Mal and Tirth Ram were also present on the occasion.
