JAMMU, Oct 29: Superintendent of Police (SP) Railways Jammu Suram Singh along with Chander Jeet Singh, SDPO Railways Jammu, PK Mengi, DySP GRP Lines Jammu and Neeraj Choudhary, SHO GRP police station held rank ceremony of newly promoted ASIs at GRP Lines Jammu.
SP Railways Suram Singh inspired the newly promoted ASIs to work with full zeal and devotion in their future career.
Later, meeting was held in the premises of police station GRP Jammu in which the members of Taxi Stand Union, Matador Stand Union, Auto Stand Union, coolies and other persons participated. During the said meeting SDPO Railways Jammu and SHO police station GRP Jammu were also present.
In the meeting the grievances of the participants were heard and issues pertaining to proper maintenance of roads within the Railway Station Jammu, cleanliness of Railway Station, maintenance of railway station and maintenance of conducive atmosphere inside the premises of Railway Station Jammu were discussed.
The participants were ensured that necessary steps will be taken and concerned quarters will be communicated regarding redressal of problems being faced by public.
In the meet, SP Suram Singh asked the participants to provide their assistance and cooperation in the maintenance of safety and security at Railway Station Jammu and to maintain the crime free, healthy atmosphere and to provide services to the common man in the best possible manner.
