Quilt shop gutted in major fire at Nagri

DODA, Apr 25: A quilt shop was completed gutted in a devastating fire that broke out in it near Chief Agriculture Office, Nagri, this morning.

As per reports, one shop belonging Sadat Ahmed, JE, R&B (PWD), Doda, where Sharief Mansoori son of Ali Mansoor of Bihar, was running quilt business since many years, caught sudden fire in which all the merchandize got completed gutted.
The shop gutted was mainly of old clothes, cotton and handmade quilts which costs worth more than lakhs of rupees. Fire tenders reached the spot and after hectic efforts of firemen, police officials and local youth, the flames were doused.
No loss of life was reported in the fire; however, one person namely Mina Miyan son of Ibrahim, resident of Bihar, got minor injuries. He was later shifted to District Hospital Doda for treatment.
Prime facie, electric short circuit is said to be the cause of fire, however, real cause of the fire will be known after investigations, which have been started by the concerned police.
