Pvt schools for bridging gap with Govt functionaries

JAMMU, Jan 9: To bridge the gap between Government functionaries and private schools in Jammu and Kashmir, Private Schools Coordination Committee, Jammu Province, is going to organize a one-day seminar at Jammu University on January 14.
“Private schools in Jammu and Kashmir have been working in all circumstances braving various hardships and have always shown excellence in every area of academics. But, their role has been always underestimated and they are even made to suffer indifferent attitude and many a times rebuked by the Government because of communication gap and misunderstandings, which leads to more problems for the stakeholders,” said Dr  Hari Dutt Shishu, organizing secretary of the PSCC, while talking to  media persons, here today.
He said that the proposed seminar is aimed to bring various stakeholders on one platform so that they all work in tandem to give this State a fresh outlook and a great academic atmosphere is built in the State.  The topic of the Seminar is “Enriching the Academic Hemisphere of J&K State: Contributive Essence of Private School”.
Swami Parmanand Saraswati, chairman of Private Schools Coordination Committee, said that Minister for Education Naeem Akhtar, Minister for Forests, Environment and Ecology Ch Lal Singh, Minister of State Priya Sethi and Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof R.D Sharma are amongst the prominent dignitaries, who will grace this seminar by the private school.
Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, MD, DHSS, while elaborating, said that the delegates from various parts of the State representing various private schools have ensured their participation in this seminar.
Rameshwar Manhas and Rajesh Sharma termed the proposed seminar a historic event, where private education entrepreneur, intellectuals, educations and Govt functionaries will interact together in presence of the Minister concerned.
Those, who  attended the press conference, included Rameshwar Manhas, Rajesh Sharma, Munish Ghulati, Dhiraj Gupta, Pitambar, Mahipal Sharma, Parneesh, Satish and Jangveer Sambyal.
