REASI, Feb 26: A meeting of the members of Private Schools Association was held here today under the presidium of State president Kamal Gupta, vice-president B D Raina and general secretary Ajay Gupta.
In the meeting, which was attended by heads of private schools from Pouni, Chasana, Arnas and Katra, Association representatives of District Reasi were unanimously elected. Ashwani Kumar, S Ranjeet Singh, Nazir Ahmed Lone, Majay Singh, Rupali Rajput, Gansara Singh, Jugal Kishore and Jatinder Heera were elected as district president, vice presidents, general secretary, Jt secretary and cashier, respectively. Representatives of different zones of Private schools highlighted the major issues of RTI, NOCs, recognition, conduct of exams. from class 5th to 9th and 11th as per new education policies of the State Government in which SIE is authorized to supervise the evaluation in the mid of session
Kamal Gupta briefed the members that review of Policy of “No Detention”, SRO 123, SRO 740 were subjudice in the High Court and no official can overrule or challenge the superiority of Court.
