Putin to Take Stock of Results of Russian Armed Forces activities in 2018 on Tuesday

MOSCOW, Dec 18: Russian President Vladimir Putin will take stock of the country’s military progress in 2018 and set the goals for the development in the upcoming year at the Defense Ministry’s extended panel meeting on Tuesday.

The supreme commander-in-chief will also award the best military units and educational institutions and appraise the progress of military construction.

The meeting in Moscow will be attended by commanders-in-chief of all branches of the armed forces and other top brass, as well as senior Kremlin, government, parliamentary officials, and members of veterans’ and civil organizations.
