JAMMU, Jan 5: Ten day long Punjabi Food Festival ‘Pind Da Bulawa’ will commence from tomorrow at Fortune Inn Rivera, here.
The festival is a culinary bonanza where guest can treat themselves to authentic Punjabi delicacies prepared by Chef Suman and her team.
It is not a food fest, it is complete Punjabi experience with theme décor and accompanying paraphernalia.
Tastefully-done live cooking station showcase famed Punjabi dishes—Makki Ki Roti and Sarson Ka Saag. The grand buffet includes robust kadai paneer, Punjabi kadhi with pakora, dhabe di dal, baingan bartha, teekha matar palav, palak di tikki, paneer achari, soya chaap ajwaini tikka and many more in vegetarian delicacies. Makhan wich murg, bhuna ghost masala, machi sarson wali, chicken patiala biryani, bhati da murg, mutton seekh kabab, fish amritsari are among the non-vegetarian selection.
Lassi being an integral part of Punjabi beverages, there is a special counter for it. Patrons can enjoy the iconic drink with their favourite dishes. The dessert counter is no less impressive. On offer are traditional Punjabi sweets-mooge da milk cake, saduya de pinni and moong dal ke laddo.
