Punish accused of anti-Sikh riots: SIC

JAMMU, Jan 14: Sikh Intellectuals Circle (SIC) has demanded that  those involved in anti- Sikh riots of 1989 be punished.
In a meeting of the members of the SIC and International Sikh Student Federation held here under the chairmanship of Narinder Singh Khalsa , the members resolved to approach United Nations Organisation (UNO) and submit a memorandum with regard  to  the killing of 14 innocent Sikh during anti-Sikh riots in Jammu. They alleged that State Government  has failed to provide justice  to the Sikh victim families.
Khalsa alleged that till date not even a single accused  has been arrested.  Despite several protests and representations, no action in this regard has been taken. He declared that the Sikh bodies will submit a memorandum to the UNO in this connection.
