Pulses stay flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 21: There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today as prices by and large moved in a narrow range and pegged at the previous levels.
Marketmen said adequate stocks position against sporadic demand mainly kept pulses prices unaltered.
Following are today’s rates (in Rs per quintal): urad Rs 4,100-5,300, urad Chilka (local)  Rs 5,100-5,200, urad best Rs 5,200-5,700, Dhoya Rs 5,650-5,850, Moong Rs 5,100-5,600, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,800-6,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,400-6,900 and best quality Rs 6,900-7,100.
Masoor small Rs 3,900-4,300, bold Rs 4,050-4,350, Dal Masoor local Rs 4,800-5,200, best  quality Rs 4,900-5,300, Malka local Rs 4,400-4,700, best Rs 4,500-4,800, Moth Rs 3,850-4,250, Arhar Rs 3,900 Dal Arhar Dara Rs 5,400-7,300.
Gram Rs 4,550-4,600, Gram dal (local) Rs 5,000-5,400, best quality Rs 5,400-5,500, Besan (35 kg),  Shakti bhog Rs 1,980, Rajdhani Rs 1,980, Rajma Chitra Rs 6,250-8,450, Kabuli Gram small  Rs 5,100-5,900,  Dabra Rs 2,700-2,800, imported Rs 4,700-5,100, Lobia Rs 3,400-3,600, Peas white Rs 3,650-3,700 and green  Rs 3,750-3,850.
