Public grievances redressal bedrock of good governance: Pathania

Udhampur, May 1: While conducting an interactive meeting with party cadres at Dhema (Majalta,  Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar Assembly Segment today exhorted upon administration to ensure timely delivery of services as envisaged under Public Services Guarantee Act.
Pathania said that present regime at the Centre as well as State is committed to ensure the general well-being of common man.
In the meeting it was resolved to provide clean drinking water in each and every Health Care Institute of Majalta. Further directions were issued to ensure availability of medicines for needy public at each Sub-Centre, he added.
Pathania highlighted various achievements of the year gone by which included setting up of Degree Colleges at Majalta and Dudu-Basantgarh, macadamisation of Ramnagar-Chountra and Ramnagar-Basantgarh road, sanctioning 400 crore worth of road projects for entire constituency, three  girls hostels, Sports Stadium, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kendriya Vidyalya and ITI for which land identification process has been initiated.
Pathania further dwelt upon resolutions which included providing every household with potable drinking water, construction of toilet units for each and every household so as to make this Constituency Open Defecation Free (ODF) and opening of bank account for every household so that benefit of different Government schemes reaches the beneficiary.
PWD authorities were directed to prepare DPR for construction of additional wards and toilet  complex. MLA Ramnagar informed that issue of construction of additional blocks for SDH Ramnagar has been taken up with Government and it would be shortly taken up under PMDP. It was further decided to take up the matter regarding provision of Digital X-Ray machine and additional dental chairs at Ramnagar with Government.
Bishan Dass Mandal Pardhan, Shiv Ram Member State SC Board, Capt. (retd) Gopal Singh, Ramesh Gupta Sarpanch, Mohan Lal Sarpanch, Kuldeep Singh Sarpanch, Kirpal Singh, Charan Dass, Suresh Kumar, Haji Mohd Din, Haji Azeem, and various other prominent personalities from society and party were also present in the meeting.
