KATHUA, Apr 23: SPS Police Training School, Kathua organized 2nd Sports Meet for Children-2018 in which children of PTS Staff and Govt Middle School Saheedi Chowk, Kathua participated.
Vijay Rani, wife of Principal PTS Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion.
While speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted the importance of games in maintaining our physical and mental fitness.
The purpose of organizing Sports Meet was to provide a platform to the children to showcase their hidden talent in sports and inculcate spirit of sportsmanship among them.
The events included Balloon Burst Race, Hurdle Race (Fruits), Musical Chair, Spoon Race, 50 Mtrs Race, Three leg Race and Sack Race in which various children displayed their talent, spirit, physical & mental agility coupled with exemplary discipline.
After the conclusion of the events, medals were presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions holders by the chief guest Vijay Rani and guest of honour, Geeta Rani, Headmistress Govt Middle School Saheedhi Chowk, Kathua to boost the morale of children.
