JAMMU, Nov 13: District Magistrate (DM) Jammu slapped stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) on a hardcore criminal.
As per police sources, DM Jammu slapped PSA on hardcore criminal namely Babar Choudhary, son of Sayeed Ahmed Choudhary, a resident of Chak Mohammad Yar.
The dossier was prepared and submitted to DM Jammu through proper channel.
DM Jammu granted orders regarding detention of criminal under PSA and in compliance, the criminal has been lodged at Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
The criminal was involved in 16 cases registered under different police stations including 6 cases are registered with Police Station RS Pura, 4 cases with Police Station Gandhi Nagar, 3 cases with Police Station Satwari, 2 cases with Police Station Channi Himmat and 1 case with Police Station Miran Sahib.
