RAJOURI, Feb 3: The villagers from Dabbar Kotha and Seri Sayal in Nowshera today held separate protests against the PDD authorities and blocked road some time.
The people were shouting slogans against PDD authorities at Nowshera, Rajouri and the DyCM Dr Nirmal Singh. They alleged that entire area was facing darkness for the last about one week and the authorities have failed to repair or replace the damaged electric transformers. The movement of vehicles was also disrupted at both the places for about one to two hours.
Later, concerned Tehsildar and SHO reached there and pacified the agitating people. They also spoke to XEn PDD Rajouri on phone. On the assurance of these officers the protest was stalled and traffic restored on the road.
