Protestors torch car

Srinagar, Jan 29: A Santro car was torched by protestors after it injured a commuter in Budgam district.
A police spokesman said a Santro car, JK03C/8011, hit and injured a pedestrian, Ghulam Mohammad Mala of Sebdan at Sebdan, in Budgam.
Incidentally, some persons were protesting against Power Development Department (PDD) for not repairing their electric transformer.
“Among the protestors few miscreants attacked the car and set it ablaze. The car was damaged in the incident,” the spokesman said.
He said police has registered a case and launched a manhunt for the “miscreants.”
