RAJOURI, June 3: The people from Aithi and adjoining areas held protest demonstration against PHE authorities for water crisis and blocked Rajouri-Thannmandi road for more than an hour.
Shouting slogans against the PHE authorities at Rajouri, the people including women came out on the road and raised barricades, They started protest demonstration raising loud slogans against the authorities concerned. They alleged that for the last about one week the people are facing water crisis but PHE staff of the area is least bothered about sufferings of the people.
The traffic on this busy road remained suspended for about one and half hours. Later, SHO Rajouri reached the staff and he pacified the agitating people. The then people lifted dharna with the wanring that of water supply position was not improved within two days.
